How can I get subversion history for Bug Import ID to show up?

We're porting our issues database from Mantis to Jira. Since all of the issues are given new IDs during the import none of the Subversion history for imported issues shows up.

Is there any way of getting Jira to show commits done against the Bug Import ID as well as the Jira ID? Is it possible to do this via Fisheye?

I found an old issue requesting similar functionality for CVS issues:

This actually includes a patch for the source, although it's dated 2005. It says the issue has been moved to the FishEye plug-in:

Unfortunately this has been Resolved as "Won't Fix", so it looks like it's still not possible.

You're correct this funcationality is not available at the moment, and realistically is unlikely to be implemented in the short term. However the Jira Fisheye plugin is open source so you could potentially modify it to meet your needs: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/source/browse/FISH
