How can I handle the concept of a Milestone which is usually made up of multiple Epics?

Hello, we have the concept of delivering a Milestone which is made up of multiple Epics.   We are looking for a simple way to track this Milestone to assure it has been delivered across all Epics and so it can be tracked at a general level (really from a date/release level)?

Are people using the Portfolio add on to accomplish this?   Can it be done with the standard cloud setup?

HI Mark,

I am not aware of any standard ways in Cloud setup to implement Milestones. You can try Portfolio or other 3rd party Apps. In our own App - Release Management & Roadmap for Jira Cloud  - we introduced a workflow for Jira Releases. Thus, if you use fixVersion for your Epics you can define your intermediate Milestones as steps in workflow and track it. But this will not help if you need to track specific Milestones dates.
