I am seeing many "older" ways to import CSV files to create tasks.  Could someone help me understand the best way to do this on Jira as it is working in April 2025?

I want to specifically create tasks on a particular Kanban board.  I have tried a few ways, from the External System Import, but it seem to make me create a new project, not add new tasks to an existing project.

Hi @Peter Matsumoto
Please note that in case you're using any hierarchy of issue types (parent-child relations), that these should be in your csv with parents first, children second as stated in this Atlassian doc.

Kind regards,
Dick
