How can I monitor a selection of epics, to track the estimates of all linked issues?

I would like to create a selection of epics. Each epics contains a certain amount of linked issues. Each issue has an estimation in time and in storypoints. I would like to see the summarised estimates of all linked issues and at the bottom of all selected epics the total of all estimates of all sums.
Ideally I could have this as a gadget in a dashboard to combine it with other metrics to track my project.

Does anyone have an idea how to do that? I came across the Burn Down Epic report, but that works only for a single epic.

Hi @Daniel Marx,

Assuming that you already have a filter in Jira that returns the epics and theirs linked issues that  you want to monitor, you could try the gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets app to do the tracking.

This app offers some gadgets that are based on a filter of issues. For your case, you could use Release Burnup Burndown Chart display a burndown chart. It is highly configurable.

Or, Kanban Velocity to see the work done in time (like 2 weeks-long intervals) or maybe Cumulative Flow Diagram to see the work done and remaining along the time. There are many options here...

Just have a look over this article on our blog, to make a better idea: How to track multi-team or scaled-agile projects (such as SAFe®) in Jira with Great Gadgets app
