How can I save a selected value from dynamically populated select list?

Hi,

I populate a select list (scripted field by using ScriptRunner) by performing a request to a linked confluence system. Is there a possibility to save the selected value of this select list?

Hi Lisa, 

script field is a read only component, it is typically used to show informations and it should not be used for changing other fields status/content.
Could you please add some more details/screenshots of your current implementation?
