Hi all,
my name is Philipp and I am new to this community. I am working with Jira for about a year now and am currently facing a challenge.
I have created a Jira Board for the Issue Type "Testcase". This Jira Board is filtered by status:
(Testcase) In Draft
(Testcase) In Review
(Testcase) Ready for Testing --> In this status, the testing team should execute testcases
(Testcase) Approved --> It is approved when the testcase is tested in a testcycle and gets a "Pass"
My issue is that I cannot see if Testcases remain in the status "Ready for Testing" because the test execution failed or because it has not been tested now. I do not find a card layout that gives me the information about the testcase execution status. It would be perfect if I could somehow see in the board (not in the testcase) if the test execution has passed or failed.
Is there any way I can get this information onto my board?
Thank you for your help,
Philipp
Hi,
first of all: Thank you for your replies! :-)
I cannot find anything suitable for the card layout. Neither status nor anything concerning (test) execution.
Within the testcase, the test execution are shown as follows:
And this is how our test cycle execution looks like:
Hello @Philipp Rass
Based on this thread -https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Can-you-filter-on-Jira-field-within-a-Zephyr-search-filter/qaq-p/191301
It doesn't seem to be possible to use Zephyr Query language along with JQL.

Hello @Philipp Rass
Welcome to the community.
Can you please share a screenshot of test case view screen. Because if the information about whether it's passed or failed is stored in any field then you can easily write a Quick filter or Swim-lane to categorize test-cases on the board itself into passed and failed test cases.

information about the testcase execution status. is this shown in a field?
if so then you can choose to show that field directly on the card,
go to board -> configure -> card layout
