How can I send user/name via url?

Hi,

How can I send user/name over a URL?

I'm trying to show a dashboard a TV and the browser I have doesn't let me interact with the web, so I need to parse the usr/name over the URL... 

I've tried with os_username= but doesn't seem to work.
