How can I use inequality charactor like '<' or '>' for search?

I tried '<' for search.However,I can get no result.How can I do it?

Hello Elisa.

 

Thank you for answering my question.I understand JQL does not.

Could you shoume URL for 'here' and 'operator references' please.  I can not click them.

Hi there, 

Unfortunately JQL doesn't understand that kind of character. The only ones that it understands are the ones listed here. And the reason behind that is because JQL uses those kind of symbols as operator references.
