How can JIRA be configured so that both intiials of a user are displyed on the dashboard

I am using the JIRA dashboard to manage defects.  Currently when a defect is raised it is assigned displaying the 1st Initial of the user to whom it is assigned.  I would like any defect to display both initials of the user to whom it is assigned - how can I configure JIRA to allow this?

Hi Atul - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Not sure what you mean by the initials being assigned. Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing? If you mean the initials in the colored dot, that comes from the user's profile. It might be that the profile just has the username and doesn't have the person's first and last names broken out. If the profile is updated, you should see both initials.
