How can i customize my Board

So my company has 2 types of projects Team led and company Led, seems company led is the way to go for new projects.
I create a company let project but the board view is so. different from the team led how can i change that ?

Example in team led projects i can search and filter easily by epic for example this view does not exist at all in the company led project. Also ui of team led is much cleaner , what am I missing ?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that company led is the way to go for new projects - at least from an Atlassian standpoint. Both types of projects fit different use cases.

That being said, you can accomplish the group by functionality on team-managed projects in company-managed projects by using the swimlanes functionality on your board (The group by functionality on team managed projects is simply a shortcut for the swimlane functionality). Go to Board Settings > Swimlanes and choose "Group by Epic". This will create multiple swimlanes by epic, with issues for each epic within that swimlane:

As far as user interface, since the team-managed projects are newer, they do have an updated UI. Atlassian has heard these concerns and is planning to reduce the UI differences between team-managed and company-managed projects.
