How can we list of Dashboards that use a particular filter?

Hi,

How can we get a list of Dashboards that use a particular filter?

We have a task to clean up filters (more than a couple thousand) that have been accumulated over the years. However, we can not just remove them arbitrarily. If a filter is deleted, Dashboard/s that use the filter will break.

We want to ensure that before deleting a filter to check if there are Dashboards use the filter to prevent the breakage of the widget in the Dashboards.

I couldn't find any tools or ways in JIRA that provide such capability.

Has anyone encountered this situation? What was the solution to remove filters safely?

I couldn't believe that Atlassian didn't provide this kind of important functionality for maintaining JIRA, especially for performance and JIRA administrators to keep JIRA database clean and ease the user experience with JIRA filters.
