Hello,
I have developed a scrum based project for a broader team and wants to use it as a template for multiple projects across the teams. Is there a way to do that without having to re-do everything from scratch?
Regards,
Essa
Hi @Essa Mahapatra and welcome to the community!
If you are willing to use a third-party app, you could try our Deep Clone for Jira.
With Deep Clone you can clone whole projects including their configuration and issues. You can read more on how to use Deep Clone with template projects here.
Thanks for sharing this Luka. I will explore and discuss the option too with my team and get back.

Hi Essa - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Yes, you can do that if you create the project as a Company-managed project and not a Team-managed project. Then when you create future projects, you can create them base on the existing project - which is your "template".

Thank you so much John. I tried doing that but it doesnt allow me to create company managed projects, I have got in touch with our IT team and trying to see if its something doable.
Once the company managed project is created the project be used as a template by everyone in the team or do we still need admin rights for it? Also does the configurations and issues get added to the template too?
