We are trying to Setup SSO using Google SAML on multiple on-premise Applications
For Eg. Jira , Zoom , Git
I have read how it can be done on cloud applications ; -
https://support.google.com/a/answer/7553615#zippy=%2Cstep-verify-that-the-sso-is-working%2Cstep-set-up-auto-provisioning
But i have not found a answer or solution if it can be done in on-premise Jira
Hi @Vasant Raina ,
It seems you are using the Jira Server and unfortunately, SSO support is not available for the Server version. It is available only for the Datacenter version.
In this case, you have to use the app from Marketplace as suggested above. You can take a look at the miniOrange SAML SSO app which will fulfill your requirements.
I work for miniOrange, one of the top vendors in the Identity and Access Management space. We have experience with this type of integration and we can help you out with G Suite integration with your other applications as well. I am sharing a few resources below, which might help.
In case if any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to miniOrange here.
Thanks,
Ritik

The configurations that you are trying out will set up SSO for Jira with Crowd as the Identity Provider.
In order to set up SSO with G Suite as the Identity provider, you would require a dedicated SAML connector for JIRA Server.
Thanks,
Ritik

Hi @Vasant Raina ,
You can definitely set up SSO with On premise jira but you'll require an app to talk to your IDP (Google)
Several of them exist and you can find them here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=dataCenter&query=sso

ThankYou for the answer Mr. @Dirk Ronsmans ,
But i was hoping not buy any application and develop a middleware by ourselves or if there is any free version to do this, as we have to do the same for multiple on Premise applications,
Is there a way we can use G-suite for all on premise applications.
