I need to create a plan including multiple Jira projects in it.
But based on project short key, managers could not easily identify which Jira project team is working on each epics or stories.
Could we add Jira project name as a field in plan?
If we create a team, or use other customize field, we will have to manually add project name again in all the issues. But we hope to show project name automatically in plan, as this is known by Jira already.
If you change the View Settings to Group by Project, it shows you the project name in the first column.
Agree with this. If I'm looking at a Plan spanning multiple projects, seeing an Epic with a name like "Version 1.2.0" isn't very helpful when it's only accompanied by the somewhat obscure project key. It'd be much better if the project name was visible alongside the Epic name.

I would love to know this too. I want to sort a number of tickets by project, and as you say, the Key is not valuable to managers.
