How do I add a new field to Jira Bug Report ??

I need an additional field in the Jira Bug Report - Severity. Current Report has Priority field but we need a Severity Field - Low, Minor, Major, Criitical as the options.

Are you talking about adding a field to a report (an artifact that includes info about multiple Bugs) or are you talking about adding a Severity field to the Bug issue, so that you can set that value for each Bug?

If the latter, you will need to add a new Custom Field (assuming such a custom field has not already been created by your JIRA Admin) and add that field to the Field Configuration(s) that are used by the project for Bug issues, and add that field to the Screens that are displayed when working with a Bug issue.

Hello @Nandini Subramani , can you confirm what kind of report are you using to get the bug report. However, if you use "Two Dimensional Filter Statistics" gadget on your dashboard, you can add Severity field to your report.
