How do I add a status to a column?

Hi, I'm jira admin and project owner but I am unable to add a status to columns on the kanban board?

The Add status button just stayed greyed out?

Only users who have Administer Project permission on your project can add statuses to its board.

You need to go to project settings -> people and add yourself as an Administrator.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
