How do I add issues direct to epics while in the epic itself

There used to be a option os a "+" to add issues while in the expanded epic view. I am only able to add subtasks to epics while in this view now. Does anyone know how to turn on this option

Hi @Shawn Glasper ,

Unfortunately, that function is no longer available in the new view.  There is an open request to add it back, you can vote for it here: JRACLOUD-70920

As a work around you can turn off the new view by clicking your icon in the lower left corner of the Jira window, selecting "Personal Settings" and turning off the "New Jira Issue View.
