How do I change the default value for "Hide completed issues older than" on Kanban boards?

Our last Jira upgrade (7.10.2) introduced the field "Hide completed issues older than" on Kanban boards. We have a lot of boards (100+) where this has to be changed, so I was wondering if anyone could help me with these two questions:

1) Is it possible to change the default value? (2 weeks) If so: How? :)

2) Is there any way I can change this on all the boards? It will take forever to go through each board and change the configuration...

Hi Lars,

Here is the answer from the Atlassian :

2) Is there any way I can change this on all the boards, bulk ? It will take forever to go through each board and change the configuration...

Apart from the database, you may disable this feature completely. This can be done by:

  1. Login as an administrator and go to [BASE-URL]/secure/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa
  2. In the Enable Dark Feature text field add com.atlassian.jira.agile.darkfeature.kanban.hide.old.done.issues.disabled

Edit the board config and under general there is

"Hide completed issues older than" with a pull down, 1,2,4 weeks or none.

As for editing all the boards at once - sorry I cant find that option.
