How do I correct a misspelled mention?

We use both JIRA and Confluence, and use JIRA to manage users.  When I created a new user, I misspelled the first name.  I made the correction and now the first name is correct in both JIRA and Confluence.  However, when mentioning the user in Confluence, the mention in the dropdown  is incorrect, showing the original misspelled first name (the mention is correct in JIRA).

Is there anyway to correct the mention first name in Confluence?  Do we need to reindex users in JIRA?

Sounds like Confluence has cached the user info from Jira. A restart of Confluence should fix it. Or perhaps just a full sync from the User Directory
