Hi,
I would like to know the steps involved in the following:
- I am a Jira Admin and I would like to create a Board in a Project that only one person can use and see
One of my BA's wants to have a Board allocated to them only where they can create Tasks for themselves and then only for them to see.
If anyone is able to write the steps I would be very much grateful.
Thanks,
Tony.
It is possible to control who can create a board. When Your Create board
You can restrict board visibility by configuring the filter in use by the board.
You'll need to navigate to Global Permissions and edit the "Create Shared Objects" permission to only include the group of users that you would like to create dashboards.

This does also affect who can share filters globally as well.
Hope this helps,

Hi Antonio,
You can restrict board visibility by configuring the filter in use by the board.
As for only allowing only the BA to create tasks, this can be achieved by creating a custom permission scheme, where only users in a 'BA' object (can be a group or role) are permitted to create issues.
You could also look into creating a 'private' project, where access is limited to specific users. Again, this can be achieved with a custom permission scheme.
