Hello.

There are a lot of great apps available on the Atlassian Marketplace that introduce checklists directly into the Jira issue view.  They can be used to track approvals and other requirements that you may have before marking the issue as done. One of the available apps is Multiple Checklists for Jira that we have recently developed at SolDevelo. It's available for Jira Cloud and Jira Server.

Issue Checklist for Jira Cloud gives that possibility.

It allows to:

• Create a default checklist for selected issue types in a given project (so checklist is applied automatically when the issue is created).
• Block resolving an issue if not all checklist items are completed

It also comes with a free version Issue Checklist Free.
