Under a project I have a board, backlog, Active Sprints & reports however I can find no way to create a new sprint. There is no button up the top as described.
Possibly it relates to the version of Jira I'm using (can't identify my version)
Maybe it's because sprints already exist but I can't see how to clear them, I can't 'complete' the sprint I'm in because a sub-task is incomplete.
I've tried creating a new board where I could put issues and treat it like a sprint but every time I try this I end up with every issue (100+) from that project listed.
Thanks.
Hi @Mark Cashmore ,
If you see the create sprint button greyed out then it can be that you miss the Manage Sprint permission
However, if you don't see the button at all, then it can be something else. In that case, can you kindly provide a screenshot of what you see when you are in the backlog page?
Cheers,
Dario
I was looking for a way to create a sprint in the 'Active Sprints' tab... not the backlog tab, down below the other sprints & off to the right is not where I'd put it?
And then when I go to the Active sprints tab it doesn't show the Sprints that I've now created (#1, #2, #3) ?

Hi @Mark Cashmore ,
The Active Sprints tab only shows the issues belonging to the sprint that is active (started) at the moment.
