How do I define the Epic that a Story should be linked to when importing a CSV

Jamie September 6, 2021

There is a field called Parent. This might be how it's done?

But I cannot find the Parent ID for the Epic that I want to link the story to

Hi @Jamie ,

for linking issues to Epics, you just need to add a column "Epic Link" and add the epic name there.

Let me know if this helps,

Thanks for responding. Should it be mapped to Parent ID?

It didn't work when I did this...

Hi @Alexis Robert ,

Thanks. This go me one step closer.

However, now when I validate I get the error message:

  • Issue 'Test 1128' doesn't have Subtask Issue Type, its Parent Id mapping will be ignored.

Hi @Jamie  Simply specify Epic Link mapping in your stories example:

Let me know if it works for you. Thanks!

Best,
Narendra
