We created quite a number of items as bugs. We want to know a way of deleting all of them and creating a fresh import.

Hi @Bhumika Joshi ,

Welcome to the community!

In general, best practice is not to delete Jira items, since deleted items cannot be restored.

If you want to delete anyway, you can delete multiple items at once via the "bulk change" option.

To do this, follow the following steps:

  • Go to Filters > Advanced Issue Search.
  • Search for the issues you want to delete (either by filtering, or by entering a JQL query).
  • Click the three dots at the top right of the page and select "Bulk Change All ** Issue(s)".
  • Once on the bulk change screen, select the items you wish to delete. Click Next.
  • In "Choose Operation" choose "Delete Issues". Click Next.
  • Confirm the operation

Again, please be VERY careful when doing this, as a lot of data can potentially be lost.

Hope this helps,

Atara
