How do I display story points while in both plan and work mode?

Our sprints include story type tickets. We've updated the screen views to display the custom story points field while on multiple screens. We are able to assign estimate points for each story, but the story points do not display while in both plan & work mode; blank.

There is this KB that talks about "How do I configure the Story Points field to be displayed in my Scrum Board". Have you already tried some of those tips?
