How do I generate a time report from the built in time tracking field in Jira tickets?
In my jira, I have the time tracking field enabled in the issues.
This is the default, out of the box time tracker Jira has.
How do I generate a report on this data?
Hi @Duran
There are a few plugins which generate time reports.
We created one called Agile Docs which you can open from directly inside your project dashboard and works out of the box.
It builds the report based on the time tracking fields in Jira so you can track the total time logged / total time remaining at any level of your issue hierarchy all the way up to entire projects or filters.
Hope that helps!
Best Regards,
Rhys

What type of time report are you trying to generate?
- Time logged per issue
- Time logged per user (per day, per issue)
- ?
Jira doesn't provide much for reporting on time logged, but to answer your question we will need to know about the type of time report you are trying to create.
