How do I link a test cycle created in Zephyr squad to a subtask or story ?

I have the test cases created in Zephyr for a specific subtask of a story. How do I link the collection of test cases( test cycle/ Test plan) to the subtask for audibility purposes and to have those test cases automated . 

To explain in detail, I have a large user-story with multiple sub tasks . Note, these subtasks can be independently tested . I want to have a way to link a test plan ( a collection of test cases) to the subtask and move it to status 'Ready for automation' . Since there is no subtask for subtask, I'm confused on how I link Test Plan to subtasks .
