At the beginning of the sprint the unassigned tickets (as they get created) appear at the top of the board.
Today after working on some tickets (assigned some, reassigned others to different people) the Unassigned bucket moved to the bottom of the Board.
I noticed that it happen when I reassigned a ticket from one user to another. The existing user had this single ticket, and the new user did not have anything assigned to him before. Once I made this change the board was re-sorted and the Unassigned bucket when to bottom.
It is desirable to have it at the top, as it appears by default. This re-sorting glitch moves it to bottom. This is not the first time it happen.
How do I move it back to the top?

When it comes to ordering the Unassigned tickets on a board, it’s only possible to configure if it will show on the top or bottom on a company-managed project on the Board settings > Swimlanes.
On team-managed projects, it will always be on the bottom.
I tried to replicate the steps you mentioned on my test site, but it always shows on the bottom when there are assigned tickets (team-managed) and it works normally based on the swimlanes settings (company-managed).
