How do I separate Epics by swimlane on a board depending on their Idea?

We have Jira Product Discovery Ideas enabled.

We have the hierarchy of Ideas > Epics > Story / Task. 

We also have a board that only shows Epics and I want to have swimlanes in the board based on which Idea the Epic's parent is. 

How do I do this?

In Jira Software, swimlanes are typically used to categorize and group issues on a board based on certain criteria. However, out of the box, Jira may not directly support creating swimlanes based on the parent idea of an epic. Here are a few alternatives you can consider:

• Create a custom field to store the Idea information at the Epic level. Populate this field for each Epic with the corresponding Idea. Configure swimlanes based on this custom field on your board.
• Create JQL filters that filter Epics based on their parent Idea. Use these filters to configure swimlanes on your board.
