In the RapidView, on the upper-left, there are three buttons:
Plan | Work | Report
I have not been able to set up a view in which the Plan button is enabled. Is that controlled by some specific filter setting (similar to how you have to have the Global Rank in the filter to be able to prioritize issues on the Task Board?)?
Hi,
In order to get the plan tab to activate you need to be running the Scrum present, which unfortunately isn't available on the version of GreenHopper running on OnDemand (5.7.x). We'll be upgrading the version of GreenHopper to something that will allow the scrum present and therefore the plan tab very soon. You can check out the documentation at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Using+the+Rapid+Board for more information on how to get it up and running once we've upgraded you (particularly the note "Note that the Plan tab is only available for Rapid Views that were created using the Scrum preset". :)
Cheers,
Matt
The documentation seems to indicate that to use "Kanban" mode in Greenhopper, I also need access to the Plan tab in order to start a sprint and move the issues from my Rapid View's filter onto the Agile Board. I created my RapidView with the Kanban preset, so I don't have access to the Plan tab. Even though I want Kanban functionality, do I need to use the Scrum preset in order to gain access to this tab?
