Could you share the use-case for this, because the issue already shows the list of sprints in which issue has existed and based on that sprint values you can easily calculate the days as each sprint is 10 working days.

Now that we get into the nitty gritty, I want to be able to show the number of days a particular card has been in sprint, on the card on the sprint board view.
Just like the dots show how long a card has been in a particular column on the sprint board view I would like to show how long the story/card has bean in the sprint. Up to the point it gets to Done on the board.
I am using a Kanban board and working in a Kanban fashion but need to show how long each Story card has been active. Its Cycle time if you will.

There can be scripting solution to your query, but I would rather suggest you to look at Control chart already provided by Jira for calculation of the cycle time of issues individually or in a group.

As this is to give additional information to the Developers and the control chart is seen as a management tool the Scripting solution is more applicable.
