How do I track JIRA Kanban board usage?

Tejas Dandekar February 28, 2019

Our team is using JIRA kanban board and folks aren't updating their tasks on time. I want to track every Friday who all have updated their tasks in the Kanban Task board. I want a list  of users who have updated their tasks in the past week or date range. Is that possible using any report or any tricks/tips? So I can generate and circulate the names of who all updated in that week and missing folks can get a reminder.

Hi Tejas,

I am not on the Jira team but I will try help.

You might be able to use an issue filter to do this.

If you make sure that each task is assigned to someone on the team, then you could create an issue filter that selects tasks that were last updated more than x days ago.

Here is a blog post explaining JQL: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracore/blog/2015/07/search-jira-like-a-boss-with-jql

Also some docs: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/advanced-searching-764478330.html

I hope that helps!
