How do you add dev and qa points in Story points field?

I created two custom fields- Dev and QA points and would like to sum that to Story points field. Is there any way to do that without script?

I am curious: if your team uses different sizing for Dev and QA, how does the team conduct backlog refinement and sprint planning (or queue replenishment for Kanban)?  For example, does the team collaborate to discuss work items?
