How do you create an overview of the issues?

Hi together, 

how do you create an overview of your issues? We have customized Issue Types, that are connected with eachother. I can create an overview by linking the issue types and by creating a filter, that shows me all the issues connected with another issue, but it takes a lot of time to create it. I use this filter: issue in linkedIssues(ABC-123)-  There is another way? How do you organize your Issues? I need so best practices.

issue in linkedIssues(issueKey,linkType)

 already tried it, but you need to link all the issues with another issues to make the filter work.
