How do you generate reports in Jira cloud?

jcleach August 17, 2020

I don't see any way to generate any reports; specifically looking for a report on the Time tracking feature I enabled. Any tips would be apreciated.

PS: Jira, you need to make this more obvious. Like a button that says "Reports".

Hi @jcleach , depending on your project type you should see something like below...

Classic...

Next-gen....

now you mention "time tracking feature", can you explain this further? is this an addon or something in your base config?

Thanks. This helped. I had to turn on the reporting feature to make the reports tab appear. The time tracking feature is again built into Jira cloud; it's just something I turned on. There don't appear to be any reports associated with it though.

Hello @jcleach

In this discussion, you can find useful tools which can help to solve your issue: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-can-I-generate-a-report-of-time-logged-per-person-and-not/qaq-p/3093

P. S. In case, you would like to get a report about how long an issue has been spending in a particular status, or how long each user has been assigned to an issue (and in which statuses), you could try Time in Status for Jira Cloud.

I hope, this info will help you

Best regards, Mariana
