How does Jira Agile calculate the days in a sprint?

I have a sprint that has the following dates:

    Start date: 20/May/19 11:03 AM

    End date: 20/May/19 11:59 PM

When I start the sprint, it says that the sprint has 0 working days even though the dates encompass 1 working day. Can anyone offer a definitive explanation?

Change the End Date to be more than 24h from your current time and make sure that next day is a workday not weekend. Then it should switch to 1 remaining day..

From what I know Jira calculates this days left in 24 hour increments but also respecting timezones and working days that are defined on a board. And this is not calculating days from Start to End dates but from current time to end date.
