Hello!
I need to erase all data in Jira Cloud before the next migration from Jira Data Center. Some time ago, I used a test migration to check how it works. However, today I can't run the migration on my production instance because Jira migration can't overwrite all data: projects, issues, etc.
How can I erase all data in Jira Cloud?
Hi, @Olexandr Babych
What you need to do:
- manually delete all projects (and from trash too, it's important).
- delete all new workflows
- delete all new schemes, roles, priorities etc...
That's enough.
I had such situation at migration process and after cleaning everything migrated fine.
@Evgenii
Thank you for your answer
but I thought that Atlassian is a corporate solution for businesses and they already have ready-made functionality that addresses such issues.
Manually deleting doesn't seem like a very corporate solution for business. But what can you do, I've completed the migration, and I had to delete everything manually, as you described, which is not very convenient.

Hi, @Olexandr Babych
Absolutely agree. After I had done it for 3 or 4 time, I gave up and made python scripts to erase all changes :)

i saw that
The last point makes me uneasy because it could involve a significant amount. I don't want to incur losses due to such an operation.

Then you can create a new Jira Cloud instance. Take a backup and import this backup to your current Jira.

No, i need clear cloud jira, because i can`t migrate from jira DC, for example duplicate email, duplicate users, somthing else...
So i want delete created instance, after that create new instance without the risk of losing the license.

If you are doing the migration, then you can use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1215318/help-desk-migration This tool does not create the duplicates of users or organizations, as they are just mapped.
