How long will it take to upgrade from 8.7 to 8.22

Hi, we are planning to upgrade our Jira server from 8.7 to 8.22, how long should it take to do this upgrade?

Trying to notify users of downtime for the upgrade.

Hi Pablo,

Unfortunately, that is a hard question to answer. Some of the variables depends on how large your instance is, how many fields, issues, projects, etc. are in your instance. One way to gauge is to try and update a non prod instance which has the same configuration your production system is. In some cases do it multiple times.
