I have a doubt on created vs resolved chart. On what basis chat displays issues here. I mean based on resolution field or workflow status?

What do you mean by "Resolution date" ?
How do you decide an issue as resolved ? Suppose i have an issue (TEST-1) , here the resolution field has been set to "Fixed" but the workflow status is "In progress" . Would it show in created vs resolved chart ?
So i need clarity here , how the issues are retrieved on the chart ? Is it based on "Resolution Field " or "workflow status"

An issue is marked as resolved in a period if it has a resolution date in that period. The resolution date is the last date that the system Resolution field was set to any non-empty value.
