How the user shall be able to export the audit trail to a pdf/word file in Jira Ticket?
when we create a ticket there will be having a activity it will capture whole ticket data. Is there any possibility to take this activity of Jira ticket to export PDF or excel. Please find the attachment below of the Jira ticket activity. Need to export Jira ticket activity individually.
Hi @thumuluru_shreya ,
From the screenshot you added, I see that you are using Issue History for Jira app, which was developed by my team.
You can export any ticket activity individually (PDF, CSV, Excel) or the history of multiple tickets altogether with the help of this app.
If you need to export only one ticket, go to Activity → Issue History. In the top right corner, click the button to download the ticket and select the required format.
Please don't hesitate to contact our support team if you require more detailed information. Or you can explore the app documentation.
Hi @thumuluru_shreya ,
If you are open to using apps you can use Issue History Dashboard for Jira (Work Item History) an app released by our company.
You can search history by project or filter out by various criteria and export your ile in CSV format.

Petru

Hi @thumuluru_shreya ,
Natively, this isn't (currently) possible. However, there's an open feature suggestion for which there has been some activity in May this year: JRACLOUD-38896: Allow export of JIRA issue details into Excel i.e. Activity and History
I'd suggest leaving a vote and comment with your requirement.
Btw, there are some alternatives you could use which are mentioned in the comments section of the linked ticket, such as:
In the meantime, there are existing workarounds that can help you achieve this:
- Jira REST API: This allows you to extract detailed issue data, including activity and history, programmatically.
- Jira Marketplace Apps: There are several apps available that simplify exporting detailed issue data directly into Excel.
So, if it's urgent, you could try those solutions.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tobi
