How to ADD issue type schema to project?

To add an Issue Type Scheme to a Jira project:

1. Go to Settings (⚙️) → Issues.
2. Click "Issue Type Schemes" in the sidebar.
3. Find/Create a Scheme.
4. Assign it by clicking Actions → Associate with project, then pick your project.

Done! Your project will now use the chosen issue types.

To add a schema to a Jira project:

1. Go to Project Settings.
2. Select the type of schema (Workflow).
3. Add or change the schema by choosing the Add Existing schema.
4. Choose the schema you created above.

Can you let me know where you see the issue type scheme option in team-managed projects? If it’s available, could you please share a screenshot?

Looks like it's for company-managed projects, I do not see this option on my team-managed project.

@Shreeja J  - There is no Issue Type Scheme for Team-managed projects. You just add the Issue Types directly to the project.

To add an issue type scheme to your project, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Project settings of your project.
2. Click on Issue types.
3. Click Actions and select Use a different scheme.
4. Choose the scheme you want to add.
