How to Add a Post-Fuction to Create a Sub-task with JMWE

Renee Olson May 6, 2020

I have created a post-function to clone/create an issue - in this case a sub-task each time an issue is transitioned from one status to another in a WF.  I keep getting the error message attached - can someone suggest possible solutions?

Hi Renee,

Can you recheck the Issue type selected in the post-function configuration? As the message indicates the "Issue Type" is not valid. Are you using a Groovy formula to return an issue type?

Regards,

Radhika

I had the issue type sub-task.  Strangely we had to restart our servers and now it is working w/o issue.  Not sure why.  This is fixed now.
