How to Bulk edit the existing issues without creating new issues ?  for example, I need to update original estimate for below items to below values, how to do in a single step ?

I believe that there's a way to do this via the CSV import - see e.g. this thread - however someone else needs to speak to the details; AFAIK, there's a few caveats to consider.

As an alternative, if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this can be done very easily with the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting and filtering all your issue fields, including the original estimate. You can inline-edit fields individually, or in bulk, using copy/paste.

This is how this looks in action:

Copy/paste also works "between" JXL and e.g. Excel or Google Sheets, so you should be able to copy your values over easily.
