We have an Epic Ticket with child tickets (TEMPLATE). The child tickets have Smart Checklist. Is it possible to clone the Parent and child tickets; and retain the Smart Checklist within the child tickets?
Hi @Noureen Stephens !
Yes, everything should work without any additional actions. You can check out our documentation here. Please keep in mind that all checklist items are going to be cloned as is (with actual statuses in the original tasks).
For the flow you described, we would also recommend looking into Smart Templates -- an add-on that simplifies recurring processes with templates and hierarchies, and supports Smart Checklist.
If you have additional questions or if something is not working as expected, you can always contact our Support Team directly at support@titanapps.io.
Best,
Olena

For cloning tickets with Smart Checklists, you can try our app Deep Clone for Jira. Deep Clone allows you to clone epics along with their child issues, attachments, and custom fields, including checklists like Smart Checklist. It ensures that all checklist items and their statuses are preserved during the cloning process, which seems to match your needs.
You can read more on Deep Clone's compatibility with Smart Checklist for Jira here.

Hi @Luka Hummel - codefortynine ,
I am trying to test this in this demo environment: https://codefortynine-demo.atlassian.net/jira/software/c/projects/DCD1/list
But I can't find a ticket that has Smart Checklits.
Basically I need to test a scenario where I have and EPIC and Child Tasks. The tasks have Smart Checklist. Do you have any example in this environment?

Unfortunately, we can't install other third-party apps on our demo instance for testing. You can always install our app(s) on your instance or another sandbox/testing instance for 30 days for free.
