Hi Atlassian Community,
I'm currently working on a project where I have a timeline that displays epics and tasks linked to those epics. However, I need to add an epic from another board to this timeline so that I can view the timeline of tasks from the second board alongside the existing ones on the same chart.
Is there a way to achieve this within the Atlassian tools? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help!
In a project Board, you can only view issues specific to a project. However, if you are subscribed to the Premium plan, you will have access to Advanced Roadmaps, which is a distinct product that has been integrated into Jira Premium. This feature enables you to consolidate multiple projects, boards, and filters into a single view.
Best regards
Sam
Hi @Iuliia Manina ,
As Samuel mentioned, upgrading to Advanced Roadmaps allows you to display multiple Jira projects into one roadmap / visualization. I do have another alternative for you as well...
Disclaimer: I work at Visor. But I wanted to flag to you that Visor lets you bring in multiple Jira projects into one roadmap using our JQL importer. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226209/visor-flexible-spreadsheet-for-jira-roadmapping-bulk-edits?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Let me know what you think. You can also watch a recent review about our app on YouTube from ApeTechTutorials if you search for "A Better Alternative to Jira Advanced Roadmaps (Plans)?"
I hope that helps!
Take care,
Becky @ Visor
