In a large Jira instance with thousands of issues spread across multiple projects, we face significant challenges in managing complex issue hierarchies and interdependencies effectively.

We’ve explored solutions like Advanced Roadmaps and a few Marketplace apps, but they don’t fully address the scalability and performance issues.

Hi @Roberto Carlos

welcome to the community!

When you browsed the Atlassian Marketplace, did you have a chance to try out the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a range of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting. With these, you can visualise very advanced systems of work, like e.g. so:

This is really just one of a virtually endless number of possible views and reports.

One of the things that many customers love about JXL is how well it performs also for large amounts of projects and issues. So if you experienced some kind of limitation, we'd love to look into this together with you and see if we can optimise your setup. Just let me know, or reach out to us at https://jxl.app/support!

Best,

Hannes

Hi @Roberto Carlos

If scale and complexity is the issue, then you might have to look at Jira Align.

https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/align/less

https://www.atlassian.com/agile/agile-at-scale/less

That's the tool created for these types of use cases.
