Hi @Len Hoffman ,
Unfortunately, there is no direct way to export Jira reports to Excel.
However, I've done some copy+pasting into Excel, and depending upon the report, that is one way to get some data elements of Jira reports into Excel.
Also, depending upon the report/data you are working with, Confluence has some better options for exporting into Excel.
In addition, there is a "Jira Cloud for Excel" app that Atlassian has available from Microsoft:
https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/wa200000556?tab=overview
I don't have any experience with the app myself, and it is more focused on "data" than on "reports", yet it appears you can use the app to build reports in Excel using your Jira data - so while you would be working with data, the end result (after investing time) could be more akin to a report.
Are there specific reports that you are looking to get into Excel? And, once in Excel, what are the specific tasks you are planning to accomplish with the report?
I believe I've convinced leadership to stop thinking about exporting to Excel, thus Dashboards. All the Atlassian products are rich with Dashboard capabilities and will provide greater value for on-demand decision making.
Old habits are hard to change, but change is inevitable, open your mind to the possibilities, embrace it, and thrive on providing greater value.

@Len Hoffman , that's great! Makes sense and definitely aligns best with Jira core functionality. Why spend time/effort/energy moving data out of Jira if it isn't absolutely necessary and provides clear benefits that are not available within Jira.
