Hi Atlassian Community,
I’m looking for a way to generate a high-level summary of all development work done in a Jira project based on the stories created till date. My goal is to:
Is there a built-in Jira feature, add-on, or automation script that can help with this? If not, what are some best practices or alternative approaches for efficiently gathering this data without manually going through each ticket?
Would love to hear how others have tackled this! Thanks in advance.
You can get high-level overview of your project's performance through the Summary feature available in the Project

Hi @Ashish Bijlwan ,
Apologies If I was not clear with requirement earlier.
I’m looking for a way to automate the summarization of Jira stories based on their Acceptance Criteria (AC). Here’s what I need:
Does Jira offer any built-in AI-powered features, add-ons, or automation that can achieve this? If not, has anyone successfully used third-party AI tools, automation scripts, or API integrations to process and summarize story AC efficiently?
Looking forward to insights and suggestions from the community. Thanks in advance!

It's out of the box and can check with @Payal _appbox_ai_ as she suggested marketplace application.
Thank you,
Ashish

Thank you for sharing your requirement to automate the summarization of Jira stories based on Acceptance Criteria (AC) or other ticket attributes.
At Appbox.ai, we’ve built a Marketplace application designed to do exactly this. Our tool allows you to:
Filter a set of issues based on your criteria.
Write custom prompts to extract the specific information you need (e.g., summaries, key development areas, etc.).
Receive answers in your preferred format, whether it’s bullet points, structured text, or any other layout.
To see how it works in action, check out this short demo video:

We’ve recently launched this application and are actively working on adding new features. If there’s something specific you’re looking for that isn’t currently available, we’d love to hear your feedback and explore how we can incorporate it into our roadmap.
Feel free to reach out to us at connect@appbox.ai—we’re happy to chat and discuss how we can tailor the solution to meet your needs!
For additional context, we recently addressed a similar question in another thread, which you can find here:
