How to I disable the "Assign to Me" link under the Asignee in Jira

Hello all,

I know this quesiton have been asked before and I saw that a solution for disbling the Jira "assign to me" link under the assignee button is to go to the Add-Ons, System Add-Ons, Issue Operations Plugins, and disable the (assign to me) plugins.

HOWEVER, this is not working in my Jira 7.1.4 environment.

Meaning, I have disbled the system plugin (It shows now Disabled) and then logged in with the normal user but the link is still visible when I view a ticket which is not assigned to me.

Do I need to perform any other action after pressing the disbaled button ? Can I force the disabling of this plugin ?
