I’m looking for some guidance on configuring Jira permissions. Specifically, I want to ensure that when a task is in a ‘In Progress’ status, only the assignee can assign it to someone else or update its status. I’ve tried using various conditions, but I haven’t found the right combination to achieve this.
Has anyone successfully implemented this kind of restriction? If so, could you please share the steps or configurations needed?
We are using a company managed project.

Suggest you to try workflow properties.
Using workflow property, you can restrict edit, comment,attachment,permission...etc .
